Good morning, Justin and neighbors!
Well yâall⊠summer in Texas is showing off again. And by showing off, we mean the kind of heat that makes you think twice before grabbing the car door handle.
Weâre heading into another hot week with temperatures climbing into the triple digits, including a forecasted high of 108 degrees on Tuesday. If youâre heading outside, take the heat seriously â drink plenty of water, take breaks, and donât forget those four-legged family members who feel the heat too.
And while youâre staying cool, take a minute to check on the folks around you. A quick text, phone call, or knock on the door can go a long way â especially for elderly neighbors or anyone who may not have the resources to keep their home comfortably cool.
Thatâs what community is all about. We look out for each other.
Now grab your iced tea (because coffee might be a little too cozy this week đ), find a shady spot, and letâs catch up on whatâs happening around Justin!
THE DIGEST
It's National Independent Retailers Week!
Here's your friendly reminder that shopping local isn't just about buying somethingâit's about supporting the folks you wave to at the grocery store, the business owners cheering in the stands on Friday nights, and the families who pour their hearts into keeping our community thriving.
So if you've been meaning to try that little coffee shop, finally stop into that boutique, or grab lunch from a local favorite, this is your sign. Your wallet might be a little lighter, but your hometown will be a little stronger.
DO SOME GOOD JUSTIN

Help the Singing Texans Hit the Right Note!
One of the things we love about our community is seeing neighbors come together to create opportunities for our kids. This one is especially close to our hearts â a member of our own family will be joining the Singing Texans, and weâre excited to cheer them on!
The newly formed Singing Texans Booster Club is working to build a strong foundation to support these talented students for years to come. Before they can begin larger fundraising efforts, theyâre looking for about $1,500 in founding support to help cover startup costs like nonprofit setup, website/email, and organizational tools.
Want to be one of their first supporters? Founder sponsorships are available:
Platinum Founder â $500+
Gold Founder â $250+
Silver Founder â $100+
Every contribution helps create more opportunities for these students to shine.

Timberbrook Crossing Is Growing â Hereâs Whatâs Happening Next
If you've driven through Timberbrook Crossing lately, you've probably noticed the change. What was once an empty corner is quickly becoming a new hub for Justin families looking for convenient services close to home.
The development has already welcomed several new additions, including:
The Academy Childcare â Opened November 2025
Ignite Chiropractic- Opened July 2026
Justin Primary & Pediatric Care- Opened July 2026
And thereâs more on the way!
The Hive is also coming to Timberbrook Crossing, bringing a drop in child care option for the community.
One additional 3,300-square-foot space next to Justin Primary & Pediatric Care is still available, with plans to bring in another medical provider to continue expanding healthcare options in the area.
Looking ahead, Phase 2 of Timberbrook Crossing will focus on the western side of Timberbrook Parkway. The approximately 7.5-acre area is being actively marketed for future retail opportunities, opening the door for more shops, restaurants, and services as Justin continues to grow.
With thousands of homes surrounding the development â including Timberbrook, Treeline, The Preserve, Ladera, and other nearby communities â the need for more convenient local options is only increasing.
For Justin residents, the question is always the same: âWhatâs coming next?â
Weâll keep watching Timberbrook Crossing and sharing updates as new businesses are officially announced. Because every new storefront means another place for neighbors to gather, shop, and connect right here in Justin.
