The holiday season is packed with fun all across our area—from Santa visits and parades to drone shows and winter festivals. Here’s your quick guide to what’s happening and when!

Nov. 22

Santa & His Reindeer Take Flight at Eagle Ridge~ Bartonville
Free family photos with Santa, live reindeer, face painting, and live music. From 3-5PM at 1118 Vera Ct. Bartonville.

Nov. 23

Fort Worth Parade of Lights~ Fort Worth
The 2025 GM Financial Parade of Lights starts at 6PM at the intersection of Weatherford and Throckmorton Streets. See link for entire route.

Nov. 24

Annual Carol of Lights~ Grapevine
Santa’s Race track with rydables, Toyland, photos with live reindeer, bounce houses, and photo opportunities. Times vary depending on what activities you would like to enjoy.

Nov. 29

Eagle Mountain Lake Parade of Lights~ Fort Worth
The annual event, organized by Save Eagle Mountain Lake, will feature a parade of lighted boats and water crafts traveling around the lake to kick-off the holiday season. From 5-8PM at Twin Points Park/ Eagle Mountain Lake.

Merry & Bright Drone Show~ Grapevine
400 drones create Christmas magic in the sky over Main Street at 7PM.

106.1 KISS FM’s Jingle Ball~ Fort Worth
Kidd Kraddick Morning Show officially announced the all-star performers for iHeartRadio 106.1 KISS FM’s Jingle Ball 2025 Presented by Capital One which will include Alex Warren, Jessie Murph, mgk, Nelly, Reneé Rapp, Rachel Chinouriri, Shinedown, Zara Larsson and a special sing-along moment for KPOP Demon Hunters.

2025 Christmas in the Park~ Haslet
Snow slide, polar express train ride, vendors, from 3-7PM, and Santa arrives after 5:45 at Haslet Community Park.

Ponder Polar Express~ Ponder
Ride the Polar Express Train, make a tree decoration, blowup slide and obstacle course, Polar Express Tickets & Bells, toy giveaways, vendors, and more. From 2-5:30PM, pictures with Santa after 5:30 at Downtown Ponder 458 Shaffner St.

Roanoke’s Annual Hometown Holiday~ Roanoke
Free live entertainment, snow sledding, ice skating, Santa photo station, holiday market, parade, and drone show. From 12-8PM at City Hall Plaza throughout downtown Oak Street.

Holly Days~ Keller
Holiday festivities at Keller Town Center. Parade, Christmas tree illumination, fireworks show, snow hill, and photo opportunities with Santa. From 6-10PM at 1100 Bear Creek Pkwy.

Looking to glide into the holiday season? From open-air rinks to year-round indoor favorites, here are the best spots around DFW to lace up and make some frosty memories.

Peace Plaza Ice Rink – Grapevine
A 4,500-sq-ft real-ice rink in front of Grapevine Main Station, surrounded by all the charm of the “Christmas Capital of Texas.” Enjoy classic cartoons, Christmas vignettes, and big events like the Carol of Lights (Nov 24) and Lighted Parade (Dec 4).

  • When: Nov 22, 2025 – Jan 6, 2026 (closed Thanksgiving & Christmas Day)

  • Where: 815 S. Main St., Grapevine

  • Cost: $20 for a 1-hour session, skate rental included.

Gaylord Texan Ice Rink – Grapevine
Skate on a massive 6,000-sq-ft rink, then explore snow tubing, and snowball games.

  • When: Nov 14, 2025 – Jan 3, 2026

  • Where: 1501 Gaylord Trail, Grapevine

  • Cost: $22.99 for 90 minutes (skates included).

Stockyards Ice Rink – Fort Worth
A covered, chandelier-lit rink on the Livestock Exchange lawn—great even on rainy days. Expect fire pits, hot drinks, adorable seal and reindeer skate aids for littles, and visits from Cowboy Santa starting Nov 28.

  • When: Nov 18, 2025 – Jan 4, 2026

  • Where: 131 E. Exchange Ave., Fort Worth

Christmas at the Anatole – Dallas
The Anatole debuts its first outdoor rink this year! Enjoy skating plus an indoor train, bounce houses, Santa’s Workshop, and Mrs. Claus’ story times. Special performance from Olympic skater Ashley Cain on Dec 5.

CultureMap City Rink – Dallas
A new outdoor rink with themed nights, movie events, and “Skate with Santa.”

Galleria Dallas Ice Rink – Dallas
A DFW classic—especially during the holidays when Missile Toes, the backflipping Santa, performs by the tallest indoor Christmas tree in the nation.

Looking to soak up some holiday sparkle? From dazzling drive-thru light shows to glowing walk-through wonderlands, North Texas is shining bright this season. Here are some magical spots—near Justin and just a short drive away—where you can cruise, stroll, and soak in millions of twinkling lights.

Gift of Lights at Texas Motor Speedway~ Fort Worth
Cruise the two-mile course past 3 million twinkling lights, glowing tunnels, and festive displays under the Texas stars. From Nov. 27-Jan.4 at 3545 Lone Start Circle.

The Light Park~ Multiple Locations
Millions of dazzling lights perfectly synced to holiday music from your car. Now open from 5:30- 10PM Sun-Thurs and 5:30-11PM on Fri and Sat through January 4, 2026. Does not accept cash.

Dallas Zoo Lights~ Dallas
Wander through a glowing wonderland filled with dazzling lights, larger-than-life themed areas, and festive surprises. From Nov. 14-Jan. 4 5:30-9PM at the Dallas Zoo.

Prairie Lights~ Grand Prairie
State of the art light tunning, a magical walk-thru forest, animated light displays, carnival rides, holiday shopping, and photos with Santa. From Nov. 27- Dec. 31 at 6PM.


Whistle Stop Christmas~ Cleburne
Lights in and around downtown, and all over the city! Activities in and near Hulen Park.  And of course the Lighted Christmas Parade on Friday, December 5th. Several dates available with additional activities.

Christmas Spectacular Light Show~ The Colony
Christmas light show choreographed to music and can be seen every evening starting on Dec. 7 at Central Firehouse 4900 Blair Oaks Dr.

Holiday Shows from IIIuvia~ Grand Prairie
free holiday-themed laser, water, and light shows presented by Illuvia. The show runs nightly at 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 10:30 p.m., and 11:30 p.m., featuring mesmerizing choreography that brings holiday magic to life. 

Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Over Texas~ Arlington
